Locally Led Indigenous Nature-Based Solutions for Climate Change Adaptation in Zimbabwe

The Kulima Mbobumi Training Centre (KMTC) is spearheading an innovative project that harnesses the power of locally led, indigenous nature-based solutions to build climate resilience in Zimbabwe's Binga district.


Implemented across 11 wards - including Nabusenga, Sinampande/Sinansengwe, Sikalenge, Manjolo, Lubu/Muchesu, Zyakamana, Saba/Lubanda, Kariyangwe, Kalungwizi, and Siadindi - this flagship initiative is empowering smallholder farmers to adapt to the realities of a changing climate through ecologically-sound and culturally-relevant practices.
